A little while back it was reported as news that a grave and bones were found that might be the bones of Jesus Christ (thus disproving the resurrection) as well as of his "family." I think most people probably thought this was preposterous but maybe didn't know how to respond. Steve Sjogren has a great article on this with the facts as we know them. He gives us three very important points:
- The idea of Jesus being married to Mary Magdelene has been floated around by doubters since the Middle Ages.
- It is highly likely that DNA testing will reveal that these bones are from family members.
- When connecting with those asking questions or discussing issues, discuss, yes, but don't argue in the least!
