1 Timothy 3:16 -- The secret to becoming godly, part 4

1 Timothy 3:16 (NIV):

"Beyond all question, the mystery of godliness is great:
   He appeared in a body,
      was vindicated by the Spirit,
   was seen by angels,
      was preached among the nations,
   was believed on in the world,
      was taken up in glory."

We continue looking at this 6-line hymn that Paul uses to outline the secret to godliness.

Line 4: He "was preached among the nations."

The Gospel of Christ has been and continues to be preached all over the world.

Colossians 1:23b (NIV):

"...This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant."

The Gospel has been preached and has become a worldwide force! Incredible to think of how this world has been changed for the good because this message has been shared to the four corners of the earth!
