CHILDREN: Today, Tuesday, will be focused on your children. Write their names at the top of this list. (If you have grandchildren, include then as well. If you don’t have children, write down the names of other children of your family or friends that you want to pray for, or for future children that you hope for.)
You’ll want to pray not only for your children, but also for yourself and your spouse to be good parents.
Use the following Scriptures to write some bullet points on what to pray for:
Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. [2] "Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— [3] "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth." [4] Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
Children, obey your parents in everything, for this pleases the Lord.
[21] Fathers, do not embitter your children, or they will become discouraged.
He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him with proper respect.
A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.
Now spend the rest of your time today praying for your children, as well as for yourself and your spouse as parents.
