FAMILY: Today, Wednesday, will be focused on your extended family.
We spent Monday and Tuesday on our spouses and children, but today is about whoever else in your family you want to lift up, depending on your situation. This could include parents, grandparents, siblings and their families, etc.—whoever you desire to pray for. Put their names at the top of this list.
You’ll be praying not only for them, but for yourself to be a better family member.
Look up the following Scriptures and come up with some bullet points to pray for:
The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God—he and his whole family.
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. [32] Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
"Honor your father and mother"—which is the first commandment with a promise— [3] "that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."
Now spend the rest of your time today praying for your extended family.
